Being a Commando figure, Duke is geared to be focused on his accessories. But rather than go the "tons of little accessories" route, he comes with componants to make up one big, very cool accessory, the Jet Wings jet pack.

Set up to look moderately like the Sky B.A.T.s jetpack, the Jet Wings use a cage system to slide over the figure, and the wings have a great "fold in/pop out" system using the little gray button/lever you see there in the middle of the wing system.

His weapon is like a souped up version of the one that Armored Snake Eyes came with, but it is nicely different and looks like it packs a nice punch. The removable clip is a great touch, as always, and the overall design of the weapon is great. It looks pretty futuristic, but realistic enough to belong in the modern day infantry.

His helmet is also fantastic. Very reminiscent of the 3 3/4" Sand Viper, I can see this being an inspiration for a few customs out there. I love the intricate detailing of the helmet, and the sculpted goggles with additional armored plating on top. There is some great detail in there, and I just love the way the helmet looks in general.

From the turbines to the removable bombs, to the single gatling gun at each wingtip, the Jet Wings is a powerhouse mini-vehicle with some really sharp, crisp detail work and a lot of fun value built in.

The cage snaps into place using these two rotating bars. Unfortunately the bars (at least on mine) have a slight tendancy to slide out of place, but nothing troubling enough to cause any real problems.

Duke's new retooled boots look like they could stomp a serious mudhole in somebody. Obviously geared towards high speed, high impact landings, they are very armor plated and the sculpted hydrolics look pretty neat, too.

So Duke doesn't come with a wealth of different accessories, but what he comes with is pretty cool, and there is a lot of play value in here. I'm still not sure if I can fully recommend a $15.00 investment, but with that rockin' helmet, this guy can be whoever you want, and that works for me. A very cool toy, even if it is yet another Duke.
