Like Duke, Heavy Duty is a Commando figure, and accessories are meant to be a big draw. In this case, for me at least, the figure itself ends up being much more successful than the gear he comes with, but that's just mostly due to my own personal preference, not really to the quality of the gear itself, which is actually pretty darn well made.

The Flame Blaster itself is the focus of the set, and it is a very cool looking weapon. Tooled around the heavy machine gun that the original Heavy Duty came with, it has the same neat double-handled system, TONS of sculpting detail and some great touches like the pilot light and fuel dials. You can load any of the three projectiles into the Flame Blaster barrel, and crank the dial on the side to "wind it up". Then you press the button on bottom to "spin" the projectiles to simulate fire. You can also press on the second handle and shield unit on top to fire the missiles from the barrel.

These are the three different format projectiles that come with the figure, "Combustion", "Fire", and "Liquid Flame" (not necessarily in that order). The projectiles look great...very nicely sculpted and very nicely detailed.

Heavy Duty also comes with a great air mask system with removable cords that plug into the base of the mask and into the chest rebreather system. It also has the translucent green goggles built within. A removable filtration system can be plugged into either side and it works very well.

The backpack is similar to his original, but more geared towards a flame cannister, for obvious reasons. Thick cables plug into the backpack and then go into the Flame Blaster weapon.

When it comes right down to it, I'm not really wild about the accessories, but only because I don't really like flamethrowers all that much. The design and operation of thiese accessories maintains the high quality standards that Sigma 6 has set so far, it's just not really my cup of tea.

Still, though, the figure itself is neat, just for once, in my mind, the accessories don't wow me, but again, it's a personal thing, nothing against the Flame Blaster design itself.
