Snake Eyes comes with so many accessories in this "Pyramid of Peril" set that it'll be a challenge making sure I get them all covered. First of all, he's got the wooden crate "caps" and a ton of gear to go in them, ranging from cloth head covers to Adventure Team dogtags (each one is unique) and even an amulet.

One of the centerpieces of the accessories here is the pedastal with the jewel inside. As you can see below, the jewel rests beneath the coiled serpent above two perilously positioned swords.

Make sure the switch is in the "up position"

And when the jewel is removed, the Snake will be bumped and a "trap" will spring, which snaps the two swords crossways, threatening to hack off the would-be thief's hand.

The fully poseable snake is the next highlight of this set, with several hinged joints throughout his body, which can twist and turn him into several different threatening and non-threatening positions.

He also has some nice detailing on the back of his head and a switch there, too, which opens his mouth and extends his tongue when it's pressed.

The body really does provide all sorts of versatility...from a relatively relaxed slithering mode...

...to a more deadly striking position.

Of course Snake Eyes needs a weapon, and this time they've elected to go away from the Uzi, instead giving him a nice little shotgun they call the "Quickstrike blaster". It's got that Sigma 6 feel, yet still manages to be quite realistic as well.

His belt is pretty neat, too, with that Arashikage symbol chamber that lets you feed the grapple line through it so he can climb and repel. It's also got lots of pouches a spot for the sword, and a spot for one of the flashlights, too. The binoculars and canteen are somewhat understated (and I do wish they had pegs on them to mount to the figure) but they look very cool in their own right. I love that the flashlights have the textured handles even.

Speaking of that grapple line, it comes with two nice hooks that fasten to different surfaces, and a nice zipline system that spins freely and zips down the line quite well.

Rounding off this massive compliment of accessores is a repaint of Shipwreck's sword, the cloth hood for his head, his night vision goggles, the amulet, and his AT dogtags (which have a logo on the opposite side specific to this set).

My favorite item of this batch is definitely the goggles which fit the head remarkably well and make the figure look a lot more like the Snake Eyes we know.

Tons of gear. Tons. A great playable animal, an awesome mini play device. Quite a few weapons and complimentary gear for the figure. From every standpoint this is definitely a terrific set and one I cannot recommend enough. Even if you don't think you're an Adventure Team fan, give it a shot, you won't regret it.
