Whew! Six unique characters in a single set makes for a very long-winded review, doesn’t it? By now, my recommendation on this set should be perfectly clear—buy it and buy it now. With the infrequency of GI Joe restocking at Toys R Us stores of late, and the “here today, gone tomorrow” appearances of some DTC products online, I cannot recommend buying this set at first opportunity enough. With the uncertainty as to whether more Plague figures will be released in the future, I can envision many collectors buying extras of this set just to round out the 13 member Plague as well as to bolster their new Steel Brigade ranks. My only hope is that, if this set sells well enough, Hasbro might release a second “Plague Troopers vs. Steel Brigade” set down the road utilizing some different body molds. Perhaps the Spy Troops Firefly could return as a Plague operative while the Steel Brigade could be released with additional new characters and equipment. Regardless, this is my favorite six-pack since the infamous Cobra Infantry Forces six-pack of a few years ago and I know that I’m not alone in this sentiment. Snag this set and snag a few extra as I have the feeling that it won’t sit on shelves for long.

Keep scrolling for more pics of this six-pack!
